Yogesh Bhattarai, Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation, is inaugurating
three airports on the same day in the far western state.
On the same day, Saturday, Doti’s Dipayal, Bajhang’s Chainpur, and Baitadi’s Patan airports will be inaugurated.
Owing to the shortage of travelers, airports have been closed for a long time. MP Prem Bahadur Alemgar confirmed that, as of today, flights would restart from all three airports.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, since the resumption of operations, all three airports have been blacktopped.
Patan Airport will be inaugurated initially in Baitadi. After that, Dipayal Airport will be inaugurated in Chainpur and Doti in the afternoon.
