May 26, 2017
Yeti Airlines, one of the leading domestic airline operators of the country, has partnered with the United Nations in Nepal to raise public awareness on the Sustainable Developments Goals (SDG) through a campaign.
As a part of the campaign, Yeti released two airport shuttle busses decorated with Sustainable Development Goals and the logos promoting awareness to reduce poverty, improve wellbeing and protect the environment.
CEO of Yeti Airlines Umesh Chandra Rai said this was the initiation of partnership with UN for the global cause. The SDG adopted by the UN Member States is a global initiative and agreement to end poverty and craft an equal, secure world to everyone on the planet.
The United Nations in Nepal said they were pleased to receive new partner for SDGs. UN is sure that this initiation from Yeti Airlines will inspire and encourage other private companies to contribute for SDGs.
