US-Bangla Airlines Soon To Add Three Boeing 737 on its fleet

A private airliner of Bangladesh, US-Bangla Airlines flying to Kathmandu from Bangladesh is adding three newer versions of Boeing 737-800 aircraft in its fleet very soon. The airline has its hub at Dhaka, Bangladesh and has been operating in Dhaka-Kathmandu-Dhaka sector since May 15 this year.
The first new aircraft of Boeing 737-800 series aircraft is anticipated to arrive within third week of this September. Additionally, the second aircraft will join the fleet in Mid-October and the third one will join at the end of December this year according to the source.
Mr. Kamrul Islam DGM-Marketing Support and PR of US-Bangla Airlines informed that all the upcoming aircraft are procured in wet lease procedure. The aircraft will have seat configuration of 8 Business Class and 150 Premium Economy and Economy class seats and will fly for the new routes for Kolkata, Muscat, Kuala Lumpur, Doha, Singapore, Bangkok, and Guangzhou. The airline also plans to add flying routes to Dammam and Dubai gradually later. Dhaka-Paro sector will be operated by existing DASH 8-Q400 aircraft according to him.
The airliner presently operates Dash 8-Q400 aircraft manufactured by Bombardier carrying 78 passengers to Kathmandu straight from Dhaka for three days in a week i.e. Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. US-Bangla Airlines is joint venture of America and Bangladesh that started its operation since 2013 and started its commercial flying operation from July 17, 2014. The airliner has a fleet of 3 aircraft of Dash 8-Q400 series aircraft at present and will soon add the new Boeing aircraft.
The fare for the flying routes has not yet been revealed but one of the major advantage of choosing the carrier as claimed by the company is the inflight facilities. The company promises to add extra facilities and inflight entertainment tools to make the journey comfortable and reliable for its passengers. The carrier has been serving its passengers a delightful meal for Dhaka-Kathmandu-Dhaka sector since day one as claimed by the company. From September 9, it will also introduce its inflight magazine ‘Blue Sky’ for the entertainment of the passengers in air.
With the addition of these new fleets various route options would be available for the passengers travelling from Nepal to various destinations around globe. Passengers will be connected to Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore, Doha and Muscat with its new addition of fleet. Grooming of this airline will also be advantageous to Nepali travelers by making Dhaka as a transit to travel major parts of Asia.
