United Airlines Boeing 737-900 with registration N78448 stuck its tail on the ground. The aircraft landed in Lewiston, Idaho, from Los Angeles. It was a chartered flight where aircraft was carrying a football team from the University of Southern California.
The aircraft landed in Lewiston, and players were to be taken by bus across the border into the small town of Pullman. While half the players were inside and the equipment was unloading, the jet ended up rearing and hitting its tail on the ground.No people were injured, and the rest of the players managed to disembark. United is sending another 737-900 to rescue players.
