Following Australia’s international borders’ reopening, United Airlines of the United States of America and Virgin Australia have announced to launch codeshare partnerships to ensure a seamless travel experience for customers between Australia and America. The partnership will come into effect once it gets government approval, slated to roll out in early 2022.
United Airlines will become Virgin Australia’s new US partner to triple its reach into the US, allowing customer access to its vast domestic and international network.
The newly forged partnership will add more benefits for travelers through the ability to earn and redeem frequent flyer miles on either airline. They will enjoy access to more one-stop connections to the US, Australia, Mexican, Caribbean, and South American cities prompted by the codeshare flights of United and Virgin Australia.
