Unclear Sky of Polluted Kathmandu: Turkish Airlines’ pilot wiping out the windshield

If you go out for driving around different places of Kathmandu, your vehicle’s windshield would be fully covered up by dust and you need to frequently wipe out the windshield. Similar is the case with the pilots of different airlines flying in Nepal, especially over the sky of Kathmandu.

On Wednesday, Turkish Airlines giant A330 bird with 289 passenger onboard was standing on the Apron of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Nepal. Suddenly, it’s one of the pilot Capt. Somar Oksway opened the window of the aircraft and sprayed a bottle full of water and began to wipe out the windshield. Still being unsatisfied, he wiped out the windshield manually by using napkin paper. Finally he flew the aircraft to Istanbul. Seeing this, one can easily interpret that the sky of Kathmandu is too unclear due to excessive dust particles.

According to the report published by one of the Serbian organization, Kathmandu is the world’s third polluted city.
