Two Wide Bodies Aircraft On The Way To Join The NAC Fleet Soon
Within three years, Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) will add two wide bodies aircraft manufactured by Airbus Inc. in its fleet. According to Managing Director (M.D) of NAC Mr. Sugat Ratna Kansakar, the addition of wide body aircraft is the first and prime motive of NAC.
The estimated budget of buying two wide bodies aircraft is around 2.2 billion NRS. The main motive of the corporation is to connect USA and Europe directly with Nepal for which wide body aircraft is essential.
Initially, NAC shall conduct 2 flights a week with its wide body aircraft and later on it can be extended in accordance to passengers number.
It has been reported that as long as Mr. Kansakar will be on the post of M.D, he will extend the fleet of NAC to three A320’s and three wide bodies aircraft. Currently, NAC is on the way to phase out its current B757’s
