The Nepal Army brought two MI-17 helicopter from Russia. On Tuesday, the two MI-17 carried by Antonov An-124-100 landed at TIA, it was brought by the Nepal army from Russia.
The decision of adding two helicopters to Nepal army were made by the meeting held of Ministry and reason behind is for more security purpose. Recently, the disaster earthquake which shook all Nepal and rescues and relief was on height. The Helicopter was the major mode of transport. Keeping this on mind and enhancing the capacity of the Nepal army the step was taken.
