Turkish Airlines, the national flag carrier of Turkey and the “Most Valuable Brand of Turkey”, today announced that there will be increment from 5 flights to 7 flights per week effective from September 24, 2018 on Istanbul-Kathmandu route and vice-versa.
According to the Regional Marketing Representative for Turkish Airlines (Nepal), “Considering the demand from passengers and the upcoming tourist season of Nepal, we have planned on operating 5-7 flights per week on the Istanbul-Kathmandu-Istanbul sector.”

Currently operating to five flights per week on its wide-body Airbus A330 series aircraft which can accommodate two hundred and 89 passengers on-board, the flag carrier will now operate five to seven direct flights per week from September 24 this year. The airline is only the European airline flying in Nepal with the continuous qualitative service. The airline had also successfully marked its four years of flight operation in Nepal and has committed to excel forward with more quality service.
Turkish Airlines flies to 119 countries, more than any other airline with an operational fleet of ten cargo aircraft. Istanbul Atatürk Airport is its main base, and there are secondary hubs located at Esenboğa International Airport, Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, and Adnan Menderes Airport.
Having won the “Best Economy Class Onboard Catering” award in 2010, Turkish Airlines also awarded as the World’s “Best Business Class Onboard Catering” in 2013, 2014 and 2016, and 2017. Winning the “World’s Best Business Class Lounge”award in 2015 and 2017, the global carrier also picked up the World’s “Best Business Class Lounge Dining” award for the third consecutive years according to this year’s survey results.
