Tourism Ministry including law of life imprisonment for hijacking

The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation is conscripting an Act comprising a provision of life imprisonment for those who get involved in hijacking a plane.
The Ministry is presently giving concluding shape to the Bill intended to assimilate legislations concerning to civil aviation with the objective of creating the aviation sector systematized and benign.
The final draft has been placed in the Ministry’s website for commentaries and response.
Likewise, the Bill suggests sentence of one to three years for those flying unlawfully in Nepali territory.
The new bill is being presented in agreement with the new federal structure espoused by the state and as per the dictates of the International Civil Aviation Organisation.
The new Bill also suggests providing smooth private companies to construct, advance and work airports following endorsement by the government.
