Tourism Ministry: Fixed the rate on helicopters chartered flights.
03 April 2016 – Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation of Nepal, has officially declared on 1 April 2016, that the helicopter companies to charge the fixed rate on their chartered flight, further.
As per the Ministry, the following are the fixed set charge, which has to be implemented by all Helicopters Companies shortly.
AS350B3 series and Bell 206, bearing such helicopters, the companies, have limited to charge with $ 1,500.00 per hour, Robinson R44 bearing companies with $ 1,000.00 & MI-17 bearing companies with $ 6,000.00 per hour.

This is the very first move taken by the Tourism Ministry for the Chartered flight, though there has been a fix flight rate for schedule flight, however there had not been any flying charge limit for helicopter chartered flight.
