Tourism Minister aims to add 18 fleet in 8 months for NAC

Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Jeeban Bahadur Shahi presents a highly ambitious strategy to add as many as 18 aircraft for Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) within his tenure period. While the present government is expected to last for next eight months only as the agreement between the political parties Made an agreement for same.
Total of 12 aircraft for domestic and 6 for international sector will be added according to the minister’s information to news reporters. The addition of this fleet will greatly influence the airline to leap a giant step in development of tourism sector of country.
He also expressed his belief that Nepal would be removed from the the European Union’s list of air carrier banned from the European skies within his tenure period.
Just three days after his appointment, the Minister secretly visited the airport for the inspections of the progress in his own private vehicle as a surprise inspection.
