Today: Buddha Air ATR 72 made an emergency landing at Biratnagar.
Update: The Buddha Air ATR 72, flight no. 952 carrying 68 passenger and two crew members onboard from bhadrapur, en route to Kathmandu made an emergency landing at biratnagar airport, 1:05 PM- today.
The emergency landing had imposed to make, after crew members encountered the engine malfunction in-flight.
All the passengers and crew onboard, safely evacuated, and the aircraft has been grounded for the technical inspection. The airline has managed the alternate aircraft to fly the passengers to their destination, however the grounded aircraft will only fly by tomorrow, after the maintenance.
Shortly the technical team from Kathmandu, are on process to fly biratnagar, as per the information.
