TIA RADAR that was facing technical glitch is back to normal operation

Kathmandu – 03 November 2016

The mechanical problem seen in the RADAR of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) that had been affecting all the domestic and international flights at TIA has been troubleshooted and its back to working mode.

As reported, the ill-fated RADAR gave lots of trouble to air traffic controllers with extra burden along with high attention and passengers with tiring flight delays.

Airport authorities had claimed to troubleshoot RADAR problem by today evening. The Indian PM Nepal’s visit had also created problem in managing smooth airport operations. After the completion of repairment task of RADAR, airport is back to usual condition.
