Updated: Finally, Fly dubai B737, on A6-FEV registration that was on hold for long time has landed at TIA, 7:20pm (Nepal Local Time).
07 April 2016 – Today afternoon, due to the extreme cross wind the flight flying to TIA, bound to over shoot. Airasia X A330-343, bearing registration 9M-XXI had imposed to over shoot along with 300 passengers, due to extreme cross wind at TIA. As per the flightradar24 the aircraft was on hold on Simara.

Further, Fly Dubai Boeing 737 on A6-FEV registration, inbound from Dubai to Kathmandu also suffered the high cross wind, and diverted to Lucknow. There were more than 150 passengers on board. According to the flighradar24, the aircraft tried to land at TIA, Kathmandu again, but unfortunately it couldn’t succeed.
On addition, as per the statement of eye witness at TIA: Many domestic airlines had too suffered the crosswind effect.
