Tara Air’s Twin Otter aircraft suffers a bird hit

Tara Air’s 9N- AKL Twin Otter aircraft has suffered a bird hit this morning.

The Twin Otter aircraft scheduled to fly to Jomsom from Pokhara has been hit by a bird. The aircraft was at 105 flight level high to Jomsom when the incident occurred. Bird hit has caused minor damage at the left engine section of the Twin Otter aircraft.

Jomsom en route Twin Otter aircraft then was immediately diverted to Pokhara after the incident.

None of the individuals have been reported injured and the aircraft is currently waiting for maintenance at Pokhara airport.
