A Tara Air flight from Pokhara to Jomsom has lost contact. The call sign of the aircraft is 9N-AET.
Preliminary information has been received that there were 19 passengers on board.
A team deployed to search for the missing aircraft. The team went there after the locals reported that a loud noise was heard and a fire was seen at Mustang Lete area.
Chief District Officer of Mustang, Netra Prasad Sharma, said that he too had received the information but could not confirm it.
The Tara Air flight carrying 19 passengers from Pokhara flew to Jomsom, Mustang. The aircraft was commanded by Captain Prabhakar Ghimire and Utsav Pokharel and Air Hostess Kismi Thapa.
