Tara Air 9N-AHH Twin otter : Missing

Feb 24 – Tara Air Twin otter with Callsign 9N-AHH, today at 7:50 AM flown from Pokhara to Jomsom gone missing, and has not been in contact since then. According to the administrative officer of Pokhara Airport Kashinath Poudel, there were 20 passengers on board and two of them were foreigners.

The Senior Captain Roshan Manandhar along with co-pilot Dikesh Nemkul and Cabin crew Roma Raut were the total crew members in flight, the two helicopters for search and rescue purpose are sent to Pokhara. According to the Poudel, the last contact made by the 9N-AHH with the tour was at 8 AM and on addition he suspected that the mishap could have taken place somewhere at Myagdi’s Rupse waterfall and for search and rescue purpose the two choppers has already in operation.

As per the Source, the fire noted in the border between Myagdi and Mustang region. It has been suspected that mishap could have taken place some where in Dhaulagiri, Rupse water fall and Kavre vhir.

The Tara Air has also officaly declared the missing of 9N-AHH.
