Summit Air to initiate Kathmandu-Taplejung-Kathmandu flights from Nov 20

Summit Air who recently acquired additional Let-410 has scheduled to inaugurate its commercial flight operation from Kathmandu to Taplejung in collaboration with Arun Treks & Expeditions (P) Ltd being as a General Sales Agent (GSA). The airline will start its flight from Tribhuvan International Airport to Suketar Airport with L-410 from 20th November this year.

Summit Air will be operating weekly flights from Kathmandu to Taplejung on every Monday with its Let-410. The flights will be conducted at 9am morning from TIA. The flight is really valuable for the tourists who wish to visit Kanchenjunga Mountain and Pathivara Devi Temple.

The company has allocated Nrs.6200 for Kathmandu to Taplejung flights. Summit air is planning to connect Pokhara with Jomsom very soon. Marketing Director at Summit Air Manjani Shrestha Dangol said, “At present we are only operating flights to our regular destination airport and will commence flight to Jomsom by spring of this year.”

Summit Air owns four LET-410 UVPE-20 aircraft in its fleet. Summit Air operates schedule flights and charter flights  to Surkhet, Nepalgunj, Lukla, Phalpu, Rumjatar, Tumlingtar, Pokhara, Simikot, Jumla, and Bajura. It also conducts charter and cargo flights to Juphal Airport, Dolpa.
