Today, Goma Air’s (Summit Air) LET-410 UVP-E20 aircraft acquiring registration “9N-AKZ” met a malfunction during takeoff for its schedule flight for Nepalgunj Airport from Simikot Airport at around 01:45 PM Local Time.
The Crew encountered the malfunction when the aircraft taxied and lined up on the runway 10 for take off at Simikot Airport for its schedule flight. The Airport currently remains closed after the aircraft left side main landing gear was suspected a break jam, noted the airport’s officials. The aircraft was carrying only one passenger on-board.
Goma Air’s engineering teams along with the technicians were immediately dispatched from Rara airport and had reached the site from Fishtail Air AS 350 B3+ ‘9N-AJR’ chopper and are currently working on the problem to shut off soon.
Let-410 is a twin-engine turboprop short range transport aircraft and is manufactured by the Czech aircraft manufacturer LET.
