Southwest Airlines joins Walt Disney World Resort to celebrate their 50th birthday in style by revealing Boeing 737-700 adorned with commemorative custom-designed 50th-anniversary logos of both brands.
Southwest Airlines has completed 50 years of its excellent legacy of serving passengers since its maiden flight on June 18. The airline designed the newest magical livery as a high-flying tribute to milestone anniversaries of both airline and Walt Disney World. The Boeing 737-700 featuring the hints of EARidescent touches both on interior and exterior parts was unveiled as a surprise at Houston’s William P. Hobby International Airport in Texas, at the airline’s technical operations hangar. As the anniversary celebration continues, the plane marking the golden jubilee operations of the world-famous theme park resort and Southwest Airlines will enter the service through March 2022.
Walt Disney-themed aircraft
The plane bears the special interior makeover with distinctive and beloved Disney characters on overhead bins and window shades while flying with tail number N954WN. The external livery of the aircraft showcases Mickey Mouse and the outline of the stunning structure Cinderella Castle. The pixie-bustle, nose-to-tail decorated airplane is colorful graphical, emblazoned with a unique EARidescent treatment affirms ‘World’s Most Magical Celebration.’ Southwest passengers can watch the exclusive footage on the 50th-anniversary party of Disney World kicking off on October 1 onboard through the Inflight entertainment portal and Walt Disney World on-demand TV series channel.
The co-branded aircraft will mark the service with a new makeover at Orlando International Airport. The special promotion aircraft with an interior touch of Walt Disney World Resort Magic and external logos of legacy brands is a scoop of festivities to commemorate incredible 50-year-treasured memories by Walt Disney World Resort and Southwest Airlines.

Walt Disney World will sparkle the festivities that continue for 18 months to commemorate its golden jubilee in the most spectacular of celebrations. The celebration takes place both on land and now sky with Southwest Airlines.
