Singapore Airlines A330-300 nose gear collapses at Changi Airport
Singapore Airlines operated Airbus A330-300 was undergoing regular landing gear check procedures before preparing its scheduled flight from Singapore to Hong Kong when the nose landing gear suddenly retracted and collapsed at Changi Airport this Sunday morning.
Luckily, there were no passengers or the crew members on board at the time of the incident. Although, there was one engineer on board but was not injured. Airline Officials have already dispatched their investigation team and will be conducting detail investigation.
The aircraft was serving Singapore Airlines for more than six years. The airlines recently scored highest ranked for its service and safety record according to the aviation ranking website AirlineRatings.com.
