Simrik Air Signed To Buy 2 H130 (EC-130) and 1 H125 (AS350B3e) With Airbus Helicopters
Within this year, Simrik Air has signed an agreement to buy 3 modern helicopters manufactured by Airbus Helicopters Inc. Simrik Air has intended to buy two H130, initially known as EC-130 and one H125, initially known as AS350B3e. The addition of H130 in the fleet of Simrik Air will be an epic addition as till now no any helicopter charter company of Nepal has added H130 in its fleet.
It has been reported that the agreement was carried out at Singapore branch of Airbus Helicopters. Capt. Rameshwor Thapa, chairman at Simrik Air, attended the agreement process as a leader.
The H130 is very eco friendly and fuel efficient. Both H130 and H125 suits the terrain of Nepal. H130 seats upto 8 people whereas H125 seats upto 6. Airbus has stated it will deliver H125 within one month, one H130 within 6 months and last one within 9 months.
Currently, Simrik Air has 1 helicopter in its fleet. Within this year, Simrik Air announced to operate brand new 3 helicopters. After the addition of 3 helicopters, Simrik Air’s fleet will expand to 4.
