SilkWay West Boeing 747-400 VP-BCV rejected the takeoff at Hongkong owing to engine problems. The aircraft was en route from Hongkong to Baku. The aircraft attempted a high-speed rejected takeoff on runway 25L, but the crew able to bring it to a stop and taxied off the runway.

Aircraft Damage
The tremendous heat produced by the abrupt braking caused the main landing gear wheels to deflate, keeping the aircraft stuck in its current location.
Emergency services handled the aircraft, and water was poured into the landing gear to avoid a fire. The event resulted in no fatalities or injuries.
