Shree Airlines to start the expansion of two new flight destinations

Private airline Shree Airlines plans to expand its service to two destinations. According to the FFSD, Civil Aviation Authority, Shree has recently applied to fly to Tumlingtar and Surkhet as new destinations.

The department has stated that flights will be allowed to the two destinations proposed by the company on basis of a phased study. Based on the study, Shree will be allowed to fly to these two destinations. The department has already started the study, an employee of the department said.

Shree is currently flying to Dhangadhi, Nepalgunj, Bhairahawa, Pokhara, Simara, Janakpur, Biratnagar, Bhadrapur and other destinations. After getting permission to fly to Surkhet and Tumlingtar, the company will have altogether 10 flight destinations.

The company, which started commercial flights about four years ago, has been providing regular service through two jet engines, CRJ-200, CRJ-700, and two Q-400 series aircraft. Shree airlines the biggest helicopter operator in Nepal.
