Shree Airlines new aircraft Bombardier CRJ700 “9N-AMO” has started its commercial flight from yesterday. The aircraft set up its first destination as Nepalgunj flying from Kathmandu.
Corporate Manager of the company Mr. Anil Manandhar informed that the aircraft conducted its first commercial flight yesterday taking off to Nepalgunj from Tribhuvan International Airport. The aircraft will be conducting regular flights to the company’s existing destinations, he added.
Shree Airlines had welcomed its fourth Bombardier series Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ700) on June 18, 2018. The 70-seater CRJ-700 arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport from from United States of America (USA) via Tucson – Rockford – Vancouver – Keflavik, as a desired air route.
The Bombardier Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ700) aircraft was dispatched from USA on June 06. The 12 years aged aircraft had been de-registered from its National Aviation Authority with “N219AG” and had acquired Nepalese registration as “9N-AMO” from CAA Nepal. The aircraft joined its new base with implanted official livery on the aircraft.
Based at Kathmandu-Tribhuvan Internatonal Airport, Shree had deployed for the first time on August 11, 2017 a CRJ200 configured to accommodate 50 passengers following a CRJ200 and a CRJ700.
The airline presently connects trunk sectors using its Bombardier CRJ Series aircraft (2 CRJ-200 and 2 CRJ-700) and becomes the second Nepali carrier to fly the aircraft type. Shree Airlines conduct scheduled flights to Bhadrapur, Biratnagar, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj and Dhangadi with its Bombardier jets.
