To connect Province No. 1 with Lumbini, Saurya Airlines will operate direct flights from Bhairahawa to Biratnagar. Jitendra Yadav, Bhairahawa station manager of Saurya Airlines, said that regular flights would start from November 8.
Yadav said that the airline, which has been providing services for eight years, is connecting Province 1 with the birthplace of Gautam Buddha by CRJ 200 aircraft.
Flights to promote tourism and connect the commercial and industrial areas of both the regions by linking Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, with Province 1,” said station manager Yadav.
The airline is currently operating nine flights; with the addition of Bhairahawa-Biratnagar, the number of daily flights has now reached 10. The flight will start from Bhairahawa at 3:45 pm and return from Biratnagar to Bhairahawa at 5:10 pm.
The company currently operates daily flights to Biratnagar, Bhadrapur, Bhairahawa, and Dhangadhi. The company has stated that it will also fly to Nepalgunj and Rajbiraj shortly.
