Saurya Airlines has formally launched its regular service in Kathmandu-Dhangadhi airport today. The private airline company in the country will begin daily flights from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi and vice-versa with the 50-seater Bombardier CRJ 200 series Jet aircraft.
According to Company Deputy Manager Mr. Bivechan Khanal, the flight SAU601 had departed from Kathmandu at 12:45 PM local time, arriving in Dhangadhi Airport at around 01:35 PM local time. The return flight SAU602 departed Dhangadhi at 04:10 PM local time, arriving in Kathmandu at around 05:00 PM local time. The airline aims at ensuring a high level of reliability and punctuality to its passengers.
Additional Mr. Khanal, the company’s one week long grounded aircraft ‘9N-ALE’ is back to its normal flight operation after accomplishing its required maintenance tasks.
Currently, the Airlines is conducting its daily flights service to Biratnagar, Bhadrapur, Nepalgunj and Bhairahawa from the capital, while it is planning to commerce the mountain flight service from its jet aircraft.
