The retired Turkish Airlines’ Airbus A330-300 bought by the Bed Upreti Trust, which was disassembled in the east helipad, was recently brought to the museum site which belongs to Caan and would be leased for 10 years.

The decommissioned aircraft which will be an attraction for internal as well as international tourists after it is converted into aircraft museum is being assembled now and is in its preliminary phase.

The museum promises information and education to students and individuals about aviation and will encourage people to know about the importance of aviation in the country and the world.

Such museum was established in Dhangadi by the same trust and was a success. So, a bigger museum is being built in Kathmandu on that basis.
