Qatar Airlines: World’s best airline of 2015
Standing at number two from past two years, Qatar Airlines finally reached at top spot being the world’s best airline in 2015, as according to the Skytrax.
Skytrax operates independently and conducts world’s largest passenger jet survey. Skytrax World Airline Awards was decided by 18.9 million passengers from over 110 countries. Rating were based according to the quality of the food, comfort and friendly nature of the cabin crew.
The top ten airlines nominated in the Paris Air Show at Le Bourget were (results are not based on their top 10 order): Qatar Airlines, Emirates, Etihad, ANA, EVA, Cathay Pacific, Garuda Indonesia, Qantas, Singapore Airlines and Turkish Airlines.
CEO Akbar Al Baker responds the reporters stating,“It’s a pure honor to receive the award but the real inheritors are the workforce running QA.”
