Pokhara Domestic airport has been facilitated with free wifi service. Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) tweeted about the initiation of free wifi service at the airport from today.
The free wifi facility has been introduced in cooperation with WorldLink Communications.
Ministry for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA) has started initiation to equip all airports around the country with free WiFi service. Domestic terminal of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) has already been equipped with the service.
Pokhara is a major tourist destination and the airport remains busy due to the increasing flow of tourists. So, initiation of free wifi service is expected to facilitate the passengers.
The meeting held at MoCTCA in the presence of Minister Rabindra Adhikari decided to introduce free WiFi service to every airport of the country. The service will be expanded to other airports as soon as possible.
