Paragliding Flight In Pokhara Halted For Undefined Time
From yesterday, paragliding companies of Pokhara have stopped their all flights for uncertain period. The cause behind the sudden closed down of flights is due to the high demand of Flight permission Fee by the personnel of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) at the time of flight from the Parapilots.
According to the Nepal Air Sport Organisation Chairman Yogesh Bhattarai, paragliding companies have been paying annually 47,200 NRS and perpilot annually 1,08,000. Until and unless the high tax rate won’t be decreased, paragliding companies won’t resume their flight.
