Out of eight, six aircraft of Nepal Airlines are grounded

Currently, Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is marching on the path of intense struggle, darkness and huge loss after its six aircraft handling domestic and international flight sectors, have been grounded.
The Corporator Director and Spokesperson Mr. Ram Hari Sharma asserted that all of the six aircraft has become grounded due to technical problems except one Airbus 320-200 that has been grounded due to recent bird strike.
As reported, three aircraft conducting domestic flights ( one DHC-6 Twin otter, a MA-60 & a Y-12e) have been grounded. Similarly, another three aircraft conducting international flights ( one A320 and two B757’s) have also been grounded. At present, only one A320-200 (9N-AKW) and one DHC-6 Twin otter are in operation mode.
Due to grounding of six aircraft, the corporation has cancelled its almost all flights till Saturday whereas Kualalumpur and Doha flights have been completely halted.
