Operation performed to recover degrading health of Major Pilot Anita

The injured Major Pilot Anita Ale Magar’s health condition improved somehow after the successful operation at Grande International Hospital, Dhapasi, Kathmandu. She was airlifted to Grande hospital directly from Nepalgunj at around 2 pm local time yesterday and the operation was conducted at 5 pm local time on the same day.

According to the information received from the hospital, Major Anita was disembarked from ventilation at around 9 am and her health condition has improved to some extent however; she has received injuries on her liver after the impact on the crash.

The treatment of Warrant Officer First Class Purna Khadka is also going on at Shree Birendra Hospital, Chhauni and his health condition is reported to be improving.

Nepal Army Skytruck ‘NA-048’ crashed at Bajura Airport on May 30, 2017 two days after the tragic Goma Air crash at Lukla which took the life of Colonel Pilot Kailash Gurung and injured two other crews on board(Major Pilot Anita Ale Magar and technician Purna Khadka).
