Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has hiked petrol, diesel, kerosene and aviation turbine fuel prices that is effective from today.
Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) has been raised by three rupees per liter for domestic airline operators whereas international airlines have to pay 50 dollars more for one kiloliter of ATF. Likewise, the fuel price of petrol, diesel and kerosene is raised by Re 1 and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs 25 per cylinder.
With the revised rates, the cost of aviation turbine fuel now stands at Rs90 per liter.
NOC previously increased the ATF prices on 8th December 2017 as it became Rs87 per liter from Rs82 per liter and the domestic airline operators escalated airfare accordingly.
