Newly appointed Tourism Minister has assured that the foundation stone for construction of national pride project Nijgadh International Airport would be laid within this year. Construction of the airport has only been in talks since 24 years and this 25th year since the talk started the construction would be started he claimed.
He expressed his commitment about this construction in International Relationships Committee discussion last Sunday. He has told that he is dedicated in initiating the national pride project as soon as possible.
The airport would be constructed with a very minimal damage to the environment he added. The airport construction will observe any possible aspect by which the natural resources could be deteriorated and consider anything to minimize the risks.
He also promised that Rajbiraj, Bharatpur and Surkhet Airports would be facilitated for Night Flying within this year. He has informed that he would continuously unveil plans for betterment of Aviation industry in Nepal during his tenure for Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.
