Nepal government has chosen Lila Nath Shrestha as a Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation. This is the second times the government of Nepal has appointed minister in a month, Umashankar Argariya has appointed at Civil Aviation Minister before on June,4 ,2021.

The Supreme Court has issued an order against the expansion of the Council of Ministers. The Supreme Court on Tuesday issued an order on a writ petition filed by senior advocate Dinesh Tripathi.
With this order, 21 ministers who participated in the government led by Prime Minister KP Oli have lost their posts after the dissolution of the House of Representatives.
A joint bench of Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Rana and Justice Prakash Kumar Dhungana has issued an interim order not to immediately implement the cabinet’s decision.
Only Prime Minister Oli, Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel, Education Minister Krishna Gopal Shrestha, Law Minister Lilanath Shrestha, and Physical Infrastructure Minister Basant Kumar Nemwang are in the government now.
