New Let 410 aircraft on the way to join Goma Air soon

Goma Air, one of the progressive, reliable and well established airline company serving the mid western remote areas of the country like Surkhet, Nepalgunj, etc is soon going to add a new Czech Republic made LET-410 series aircraft on its fleet.
Goma Air is the solo airline company whose hub is Nepalgunj. Currently, Goma Air has two Cessna Grand Caravan registered as 9N-AJT and 9N-AJU as well as two LET410 UVP-E20 registered as 9N-AKY and 9N-AKZ on its fleet.
As per the official of Goma Air, the contract has been signed on Saturday between the Managing Director Manoj Karki of Goma Air and the aircraft manufacturer company. The brand new LET410 that Goma will receive on late December, after the other LET-410 (9N-AKZ) that joined its fleet on October 2015, it is planning to conduct its flight to more destinations of Nepal and the incoming brand new aircraft will cost 643.3 Million Nepali Rupees for Goma Air.
The Let L-410 Turbo-let is a twin-engine short-range transport aircraft which can fly and land at 14,000 feet above sea level and is designed for the operation in Himalaya countries like Nepal where airports have usually Short Takeoffs and Landings (STOL) runways manufactured in Europe by the Czech aircraft manufacturer LET, mostly used for 18 passengers on board .
Until now, the airlines operated various STOL destination of West Nepal Jumla, Simikot, Dolpa, Lukla, Bajura, Rukumkot, Bajhang, and Tanana from its Surkhet and Nepalgunj hubs.
The airline has also informed that 3 pilots are being trained for the new aircraft and it has been reported that ground classes have been running in its head office at Kathmandu.
