New company, Annapurna Helicopters soon to airborne; received NOC from CAAN

A new helicopter company namely Annapurna Helicopter is all set to debut its entry in the Nepalese Aviation. It has taken a step forward in commencement of its services for Nepalese Sky as it has finally received its No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Civil Aviation Industry of Nepal. Among the most crucial and complex processing in establishment of a helicopter company, receiving an NOC certificate is a significant one.

The newly established helicopter company had applied for NOC about a year ago after receiving license from the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation which is the first step of company establishment in aviation. The company has already set up its corporate building at Sinamangal. And the company which has been assigned the base station in Pokhara is undergoing preparations for establishing its base station at Pokhara Airport.

The company is also aiming to provide services with the Airbus H125 single-engine light category aircraft, which is used by most of the helicopter companies in Nepal. The initial plan of the company is to introduce three H125 aircraft and has received the approval for 3 aircraft accordingly. The company is expecting to land its first H125 aircraft in the last of January next year. The company has already accomplished its overall paper works for now and the next step is preparing to build base at Pokhara Domestic  Airport.

Helicopter companies in Nepal are popular choice for a flying medium inside Nepal. Therefore, the helicopter companies in Nepal are having boom in providing services. In this context, it is obvious that many new helicopter companies are trying to make entry in this industry. However, establishing an aviation company in Nepal is not everyone’s cup of tea. It takes a lot of paper works and more to accomplish a project like this.
