Nepal Government to pay the value of invaded land for Gautam Buddha Airport

Finance Ministry has finally made of their decision for distributing the compensation to the land invaded at the airport projected site. Earlier authorities from CAAN had convinced the local for the land acquirement procedure and preceded the construction work.

Authorities from Gautam Buddha International Airport had forwarded the compensation proposal to CAAN demanded which was pending for Finance Ministry’s approval.  The news of compensation distribution has brought justice and joy to the affected land owners. As been reported Nepal Government has evaluated the invaded land to be twenty three billion of worth. Previously the land owners were saddened by the invasion and delay in the compensation procedure.

Entire cooperate house and financial organization are found to be excited with the heavy amount to be flooded at the region.  Earlier the region was running out of cash and now the compensation budget has encouraged for boosting up the economy at Bhairahawa Region.

Additional five hundred Bighas of land was acquired by Gautam Buddha International airport to meet the need international requirements. With the acquirement of addition land the airport has now become the largest airport of the nation in terms of land occupancy with total land convergence of seven hundred and eighty seven Bighas.

The invaded land acquired by the international transmission airport belonged to six hundred and fifteen families out of which entire homes of three hundred and five families have been covered by the airport territory who once lived by the airport section.

The targeted amount of 23 billion excludes the compensation amount of destroyed homes, roads and trees which has been priced to be 2 billion of worth.  Earlier the authorities have already handed ten million worth of compensation during the start of 2074-75 fiscal year.
