KATHMANDU – ANN

The Government of Nepal has decided to extend International flight suspension till June 30. A cabinet meeting held at the PM’s residence in Baluwatar on Saturday evening decided to extend International flight suspension, said government spokesperson, Mr Yubaraj Khatiwada. Earlier, the suspension was in effect until June 30.

Since March 24, Nepal has stopped regular and charter flights with other countries as part of the government’s plan to stem the spread of the coronavirus which has claimed 06 lives and infected over 1212 people in the country.

However multiple repartition, medical supplies, and special flights have been permitted nationally and internationally. CAAN forces no restrictions for those special flights but special approval for those flights needs to be obtained before getting into skies.
