The government of Nepal has decided to allow all regular domestic and international flights to operate across the country. After the country’s second lockdown, Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Minister Lilanath Shrestha said Monday’s cabinet meeting agreed to allow all domestic and international flights.

“All flights have been authorized to be open by the government.” As per Ministry source.
“After the CAAN receives the letter from Cabinet, the decision will be implemented. It may take a few days to comply with the decision.” Source added.
Since last week, the government has brought in half the number of domestic flights suspended indefinitely due to the coronavirus. To restrict the spread of the new version Covid-19, the cabinet meeting had suspended all international flights except India-Nepal.

This decision made it ease for the stranded Nepalis to return home from the foreign country, including the gulf regions.
Since only a small number of flights were opened in July, there was a problem for Nepalis to return home.
In an attempt to prevent the spread of Covid-19, the Nepalese government has decided to suspend all flights starting from April 29.
