Nepal Airlines Soon To Appoint 12 Pilots, 16 Airhostesses and 16 Airhosts
07 July, 2016 – It has been reported that Nepal Airlines is all set to about 4 dozens cockpit crew and cabin crew. Among them there would be 12 pilots, 16 Airhostesses and 16 Stewards (Airhosts).
Currently, Nepal Airlines is holding first stage exam for airhost and airhostess whereas for the selection of pilots, it will publish public notice within one week.
As the flag carrier is unable to operate its international flight with its full potential due to scarce of pilots, so after the appointment of required number of cockpit crew and cabin crew, the corporation would run effectively in international sector.
According to the sources, Nepal Airlines has 18 captains for its two B757-200’s and 8 captains along with 13 First officers (F/O) for its two A320-200’s . For smooth operation, the corporation needs 14 captains and 14 F/O’s for two B757’s and same figure for two A320’s. A total number of 56 pilots are essential for NAC.
