Nepal Airlines preparing Y-12 E for Dashain and Tihar

Nepal Airlines has conducted test flight to various STOL destination airports by its Harbin Y-12 E aircraft. Nepal Airlines started to make preparations to conduct flights to various remote places of Nepal in order to serve passengers for upcoming festive of Dashain and Tihar.

As the national festival Dashain and Tihar approaches, a massive amount of travelers travel through land as well as air to various parts of the country. Nepal Airlines is dedicated to provide service in the promising fare to the people of the country. However, the shortage of pilots for Y-12 E aircraft has not made the flag carrier provide its service even in a minimum count.

It has conducted a test flight to Chaurjhari Airport on August 3 last Friday. Similarly, it conducted test flight to Suketar Airport of Taplejung the same day. Other test flight were scheduled on August 5 to Bhojpur, August 6 to Bajura and August 7 to Tumlingtar. Although, private carriers and Nepal Airlines have been providing scheduled flights to some of these airports, the flights are not effective. Thus the flag carrier is dedicated in providing the scheduled services to these airports after successful test flights.

The passengers traveling from the remote areas of Nepal would be directly benefitted specially in the festive season if the flights could be conducted regularly by Nepal Airlines. This will also help promote Nepal Tourism Year 2020.

For this Nepal Airlines has also demanded Line Captains to fly these Chinese Aircraft before Dashain to various destinations.  If everything goes planned, Nepal Airlines will help massive travelers transportation to or fro the remote places of Nepal from various destinations.
