Regular flights have been disrupted due to the ongoing maintenance of Twin Otter aircraft and will be restarted from Jestha 23rd. NAC has been operating two flights per week (wednesday and friday) on Suketar airport at Taplejung.
The regular flights will be conducted during rainy season as the blacktopping of the airport has already been done.
Summit, Nepal Airlines and Tara Airlines had conducted their flights on the Suketar Airport. Since last time, Summit Air has conducted chartered flights only. Majority of passengers have been attracted towards the national flag carrier due to less airfare.
