Nepal Airlines Harbin Y12-e ‘9N-AKT’ in a Night Stop

January 31, 2017- Kolkata

The Factory made Harbin Y-12e aircraft belonging to Nepal Airlines has arrived to Kolkata International Airport, India.

As per the officials of NAC, the aircraft was airborne from Kunming Changshui International Airport, China today morning and was on transit at Myanmar. Currently, the aircraft is at Night stop today at Kolkata International Airport, India.

The new aircraft has its registration number and Manufacturers Serial Number (MSN) is ‘9N-AKT’ and MSN 027 simultaneously.

From, Kolkata International Airport the aircraft will get airborne tomorrow morning at 10 AM and will land Tribhuvan International Airport, Nepal tomorrow afternoon at about 1:30 PM. Two American ferry pilots and two Aircraft maintenance engineers (AMEs) along with one flight attendant are onboard in Harbin Y12-e aircraft.

The second MA-60 has already arrived last Thursday and brought by Nepalese pilots via Bangladesh. The aircraft is named ‘Fewa’ and NAC’s pilot Gopal Singh Bista flew the 56-seater plane. The aircraft has ‘9N-AKR’ registration number from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).
