Nepal Airlines Grounded Twinotter Resuming It’s Service Soon.

Nepal Airlines DHC-6 Twinotter possessing registration 9N-ABT has been grounded at Tribhuvan International Airport from 3 months due to technical problem.

Recently, the overhauled engines have been fitted to the grounded Twinotter. Those engines were brought from Indian Company Barman Aviation and American Company Southwest Air Motive. Nepal Airlines had exchanged its damaged engines with overhauled engines for 250,000 to 350,000 US dollars per engine.

According to the Spokesperson and Corporate Director of NAC Mr. Ramhari Sharma, grounded Twinotter will resume its service before Dashain. Currently, one MA-60, one Y-12e and one Twinotter are in operation for domestic flights.
