Nepal Airlines grounded Twin Otter maintenance accomplished

Nepal Airlines Corporation’s Canadian made turboprop aircraft Twin-otter with 9N-ABT registration, which had been grounded for three days after a technical glitch in the starter generator of the right engine maintenance has been successfully accomplished today.
As per the source, the starter generator of the right engine failed to recognize with the other one to meet for safety flight operations.
The technical team of Nepal airlines has rectified the snag by working for three days and has accomplished the maintenance today. The aircraft’s operations will be resumed shortly.
Similarly, the aircraft, LimaEcho of Saurya Airlines has been grounded due to technical problem at Tribhuvan International Airport for the maintenance work.
In such a festive rush which demands maximum flight operation, the grounding of these domestic aircrafts can hamper the goodwill of the airlines and traveling will get halted.
