Nepal Airlines flying to Canberra, Australia for the first time today

The national flag carrier Nepal Airlines Corporation has prepared to fly chartered flight to Australia for the third time today. The corporation’s wide body A330 aircraft will depart to Canberra, the capital of Australia this time. This will be the first flight connecting the capital of Nepal and the capital of Australia.
As per the source the Nepal Airlines Airbus A330 with registration ‘9N-ALY’ Flight Number RA-4135 is scheduled to depart from Kathmandu at 16:55 Hrs(local time) for Canberra, Australia via Kuala Lumpur with Capt. Vijay Lama. After technical stop at Kaula Lumpur, the aircraft is scheduled to reach Canberra Airport (IATA Code: CBR) at 00:50 Hrs (Local time) the next day 09 June 2020 in command of Capt. James Edward Keep.
The Australian Embassy in Nepal has chartered the Aircraft to repatriate more than 250 people, including Australians and New Zealand citizens who were stranded in Nepal due to lockdown and PR holders who are on holiday.
Earlier, the corporation’s airborned to Sydney, Australia on 6 May 2020. Similarly, during the lockdown, the corporation’s wide body had flew for first time in Brisbane, Australia on 01 Apr 2020.
Despite the air service agreement between Nepal and Australia, regular flights have not yet conducted.
