The national flag carrier Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) finally launched its online ticketing service to facilitate the passengers.
NAC had been trying to introduce the online ticketing system from several past months. Passengers can now book their tickets to their destinations online through the e-ticketing software embedded in NAC’s official website. The software was ready a month ago however; it was under the testing phase.
Nepal Airlines previously had requested proposal from across the globe for the e-ticketing system which as a result Indian and Thai were selected amongst the various applicants. Lastly, flag carrier had appointed the Thai IT company and signed the contract for the e-ticketing system.
